Sleeve hitch to 3 point adapters
1 Attachment(s)
Its been along journey to get a set of these, from trying to get dimensions to finding off the shelf arms, after being unsuccessful I decided I to make them myself. I still need to order my top link and weld on the cat 0 ball ends but its getting there. ( I rotated the pic before attaching but still came out wrong sorry)

how do you plan on hooking up a 3pt piece to it? the arms look like they're bolted solid. they need to spread apart to go on the 3pt pins.
|
When its all said and done it will have the pins bolted to the sleeve hitch as well as the balls welded to the arms. It should operate just like a 3 point but with a little bit different approach because of starting with the sleeve hitch.

You will probably have a ways to go before you perfect this, but cool dude. I wondered about doing something similar in the past but never had enough motivation to get after it. Should be pretty cool when you get all the kinks worked out.

Thanks. In my head I have it all worked out but It doesn't always turn out as planed, so yes probably some tweaks to be made. This has been on my list for a few years also but since its more for a just incase scenario its been on the back burner and motivation was a factor also lol. Thank you to who ever rotated the pic.

For the life of me, I can't see how that is going to work.....:bigthink:
Maybe some more pics would help. With that electric lift in the middle, where will the 3rd link attach? The mound for the e-lift looks like it's bolted to the fenders, which won't take the weight and beating for very long. Maybe I'm looking at it wrong.... |
Hmmmm,,, maybe he could make it work like one of these,,, :bigthink:

Quick attaches are great! Unless not all your equipment is the same.... I rebuild all my implements to be the same so that I can use the quick attach.

Patience guys this was just a thread to show progress on lower lift arms theres work/tweaks to be done. Yes the top link mount is missing at this point when its done it will be self explanatory. I don't intend on running a 3 point tiller with this, I would get the aftermarket three point hitch for anything heavy duty. The sleeve hitch which I already had before I bought the 1872 has already proven itself to be able to handle the other ground engaging equipment I have disk, single bottom plow, blade. I have confidence the adapted 3 point hanging off of it pulling a scraper blade will do just as well when its done. Cad plans, I did think about using a quick hitch but there were none on the market that would adapt a sleeve hitch x a 3 point so I chose this route but that's not to say when my custom 3 point is done I wont buy a quick hitch for it.

Build,,,Build,,,Build,,, :bigthink: :biggrin2: Even just some sort of QH attachment on one side will resolve the non-swinging arm question. |
