New in New Mexico
Inherited a 149 Hydro from my grand dad. Came with an IH Tiller (not sure model) a mower deck (don't know size), plow, and disc harrow. Can't wait to go pick it up in July and get started cleaning it up. I'm sure I'll be asking lots of questions, so get prepared!

My grand-dad bought this tractor back in '75 and it's been in our family since. I grew up on it, and spent many summers mowing, plowing and tilling with him. It is like part of the family. I have been on the internet non-stop since finding out that I am going to get it researching everything about it.
I plan to start with a carb rebuild and go from there. Probably will need new spark plug, wires, condenser, coil, points. Won't know for sure though until I get it in July. Does this sound like the best starting point? JRob |
I think I would try just starting it first it may not need much work.
