Wow! What an encyclopedia of information this site is. I have a lot to do come springtime as far as fixing numerous things on my cub cadet. It has worked awesome on the last two snow storms, we had each about 8 inches. I gave up last year on my QA 36 blower because I couldn't get it to work. It would only toss the snow a foot or so. However after reading some articles I will give it another try. I had it for 2 years now and a few problems have come up. I will have to research the archives - find some helpful tips.

Welcome to OCC, you won't find anyplace better for information on Cub Cadets.
Ask questions, the guys here are more than happy to help out. Snow thrower problems... Start off by making sure everything turns freely and smooth. Make sure the chute is free from rust, the slicker it is, the better. When in use, keep the auger housing full of snow. Not saying these things are the "cure all" for a snow thrower, but they are a good starting point. Good Luck. |
Welcome to OCC! Congrats on your 149.
