Tiller lift pin length

I put my #2 tiller on the back of my 1450 last night. I got them in a package deal a couple of years ago and haven't used the tiller. I used the lift pin that came with it and found that when I lift the tiller the lift pin contacts the tiller gear box.

Can anyone tell me what the distance between the 1/4" hole and the 1/2" hole should be? I want to measure mine and see what I have.

Thanks,

Bob

Here's the lift pin I use with my 1A tiller on my 125

2-3/4" from the casting and the outer hole is 4-1/4" I am going to "guessimate" that you should add another 3/8" to those measurements for center distances.
