Cub Cadet 60" mower mounted on a 782D

Has anyone found a way to mount a mower deck (60") off of a Super: On to a 782 D??

Can't be done. Too short wheel base, not tall enough.

From what I have read, it won't work. The space between the front and rear wheels won't accommodate the deck.

Maybe you can put a front axle from a 1440 on it, and the deck will clear. Just thinking out loud.

I believe with the super steer front axle, you can clear a 54 inch, cause that came on a 1864. So, it only makes sense.

Big difference between a 54" and a 60" Haban.

super deck on 782d

I have the 1863 front axle with v61 tires on the tractor. In a post I read a while ago and forgot where it is. A member did put a larger super deck on a 782. But did not elaborate on how. Still have the smaller rear tires. Had to use the front hangers to adjust the deck level on my 46 GT deck.

If you really want to do it it might be easier to make a push frame and make the deck front mount instead of mod mount.

Super deck on a 782D

Any one have the dimensions of the 54" and 60" decks??

I also have entertained the Idea of a 60" deck.
One of my 782's does have a super front axle under it.
But I'm thinking it just might not have the wheel base to clear the deck between the tractor wheels.
Maybe someone has actually tried to stuff a 60" Haban,-- or other??
deck under it.
Even a deck from another manufacture??
I do know there is not a lot of clearance under the 782's from frame to ground.
The super axle does give about an additional 2" height @ the front but it tapers to "0" additional @ the rear axle as expected.
Aw well, it is prolly only a couple of extra passes across the lawn @ the end of the day with a 50" deck.
