What do I do with this deck?
 

What should I do with this deck, should I try to save it or just scrap the shell. It's in such bad shape and I don't to deal with it. Believe it's a 48"
It won't let me upload pics. So I'll describe it as best as I can.
The shell itself is getting thin, there are a couple very big holes, one wheel is rigged with a couple pieces of old metal, and the cast iron piece at the front is cracked and has a chunk missing.

I believe I probably should just scrap the shell and keep the other parts

Hard to say without pics. When you say cast iron I'm thinking its for a really old Cadet. If some of that is broken/busted then the rest of the deck is probably toast as well. Unless this is a super rare size needed for a restoration I think I'd use it for a parts donor.

can you at least give me a guess on it... think. John it was on a 124 and the cast iron piece is at the top where the wooden roller is, its cracked and there is a chunk missing.

I need to know soon because if I do scrap the shell I will be taking it in on Wednesday
