Where to buy a seat with armrests??
 

I want/need to replace the seats on at least 2 of my Cubs. I want the original seat, but I want the one with armrests. Not having much luck finding the armrests.... Hamilton Bob's page on evil-pay seems to have the best price on the seat, but where can I get the armrests for it for a reasonable price? The kits I'm finding cost as much or more than the seat itself. I just don't think $200 is reasonable to spend. Call me tight, I don't care. :biggrin2:

Yeah, I've looked at that style. (Not necessarily from that vendor.) I have one similar to it from a newer Cub. I think it's kind of hard (not soft). I really like the OEM style seat.... I just want one with armrests, and not pay $80 for the armrest kit. :bigeyes:

I have a set of brackets for an IH tractor seat. Thought about buying a replacement seat from tsc and making some spacers an mounting that on one of my Cubs. I'll ask a friend of mine if he knows of any.

I have not checked with Ray. Not yet anyway. Let me know if your friend knows anything. :beerchug:

That doesn't look bad, the seat might lean forward a little to much.

That is like the one on my Z-Force. Yes, comfy. Mine has gel bumpers on the bottom that helps cushion the ride. The armrest on a zero turn with the tank-like steering arms always makes me wonder---why?

Tractor Supply Company and like stores sell seats with a curved back and armrest already on them for around $125 or so. I have one on my restored 1000, but never been on it long enough to try it out. I do recall that I sit up a lot higher, though.

Jonathan, if you already have the armrest, you could have them reupholstered to save cost.....not for sure if you already have them or not.

I've got a seat from Concentric International, the steel, high back one, and they list an armrest kit for it, but I've never been able to find one. I know Dad had armrests back in the day on one of his tractors but I only found one of the two armrests, they were IH OEM. I'd love armrests myself and this is a great question.

i have an arm rest set on an old junk seat so im planning to carefully drill holes in the back of the seat then install nutserts to bolt the arm rests on.
