How far would you drive for a cub
I was looking at some attachments for my cub but they are about five hours away, was debating whether it is worth driving that far. The furthest I have gone for a cub related item was 2.5 hours. So that got me curious, how far are you all willing to drive for a cub/attachment/part that's on craigslist or something of the like? or if you have, whats the furthest you've gone for a cub?

i've picked up cubs from as far as 9 hours away but i was already passing through, the furthest i've ever went specifically to pick up a cub is when i went to Lew's to pick up the 1211 which was a little over 5hrs each way.

If you drive 2x faster, it takes only 1/2 the time. :biggrin2:

I'm about 50 miles North of St. Louis...
I've been to Florida to pick up 3 parts tractors (all 3 had 3 point hitches). Went to the East end of Kentucky to pick up 7 tractors and a ton of parts. Went to Michigan once. Been to Indiana several times. A couple of trips to Ohio. 2 trips to a small town near Columbia Mo. Once to a town in Illinois, North of Chicago (West of the lake) with a religious sounding name. Once to Minneapolis. Twice to Wisconsin. Once to a town just North of Carbondale Il. 3 trips to Arcola Il. 2 trips to Iowa in the last month. And probably another 10 or 12, 100-200 mile trips that don't really stand out in my mind. |
