Working on my 123 (it's about time)

I have not had the time needed to work on the 123 I got last year. I did get the motor to run but it needs some work bad.
So I know I need to replace the seals on the shaft, was leaking oil bad when it was running.
Called the cub shop near me to ask about a seal/gasket kit , they asked me if I had the part number? No that is why I called you !! They want $85.00 + tax and could not tell me if the seals were part of the kit or would that be a different part numbers ?
This is the same shop that told me they could rebuild my motor to like new for $1,000.00
So my question is, would the seals come with a gasket kit? Is $80.00 in the ball park? And, who would be good to order online from as I don't think the shop near me is going to be seeing much of my money?
Thank you for your time on this, I will try not to become a pain in the ---.

Joe, have you looked the parts up on cub cadet?
Then you would know the answers to their questions, and you could baffle them with you brilliance in the knowledge of the 123.:beerchug:

If you hunt around a little bit, you could probably find a kit for $25 to $30.

You can get gasket sets off eBay for far less money.
