Another big hello from Packerland
I'm not totally new to Cadets, just re-acquired a Cadet 95E recently. I had one back in the mid 80s. Life happened and I gave it to a friend who gave it a friend and it is now lost in time. I really did love that 95E. Sooo quiet. It took me awhile to find one and then talk the guys wife into convincing him to sell it to me. It turned out to be a bit more than I was looking for. The guy wouldn't sell the Cadet unless I took everything he had that went with it. So, I ended up with a full 95E with an NOS deck, a rolling 95E chassis without any of the electrics, a #2 (I think) cart, either a #1 or a #2 (I haven't figured it out yet) lawn sweeper and all of the different manuals and books that cover it. The best part of the deal is that the rolling chassis still has the traction motor that turns freely.
Now I am doing all the research and not finding a whole lot of info on the 95. I am mechanically minded, so if I can't find it, I will figure it out. |
Big hello back to Packer land from Colt land. I`m not familiar with that little 95 but we all know about Mr Rogers and the cheeseheads. :beerchug:
This forum section is the welcome committee ..for technical issues on that unit try another section but that little electric model does not seem to be popular here ..luckily you have the manuals.. good luck. |
Welcome to OCC!

Thanks Red & AC
I have noticed in my searches over the last month or so that info is few & far between. Fortunately I had one years ago and also all the manuals. I will be posting info request in the RER thread section as I bump into issues. Right now it's more a case of taking things apart, cleaning them and testing all of the electricals. The traction motor, tranny & rear end drive system work fine. The rest I am testing. I only know of two members on OCC that have one of the 95s. Hopefully they will be informationally helpful. Thanks for the welcome. Mike |
