Parker lawn vacuum

So i have been avoiding this Parker lawn vacuum in my lawn since i brought home my 1512 as it didn't run and i was not that concerned about leaves. I've been messing with the newer 5HP briggs and stratton for a day now and who ever worked on this thing last shouldn't ever again. The carb is trashed and has so many stripped threads it's not even worth rebuilding and a new one is 110 from what i found.

So this afternoon i went down to harbor freight for a 212cc predator engine i use these engines in my hopped up mini bikes with great success. I installed the engine and had to use a mini bike exhaust for now till i come up with something permanent. I got the engine installed and filled with break in oil runs nice and quiet and seems to do a decent job and collecting leaves till i can find a smaller tractor mounted trac vac setup.

Great job with the conversion. I missed out on one of those a few months ago down here and wish I got it. The old peco I have is missing a key part which makes me end up very dirty. Looks good

Do you have a picture of that exhaust that will clear the blower housing and where one could get that exhaust?

Can do better here's a link i had to space the blower house out about 1/4" i am going to try ordering one of the shorter exhaust and seeing it that may work better honestly i had this one on the self.

This thing is very dusty when it is running i am going to try using a smaller screen on the top to see if that helps at all.

Great job, John! Those Predators are good engines.

Here is a smaller one John. It rests on the rear axle with no wheels. I have two of these and they work great!! Also nice for a carry all for wood logs, trash can, neighborhood dog, cat, chipmunks, etc....
