What year is Cub Cadet 111?
 

Bought a running Cub Cadet model 111 with deck at local auction sale 2 weeks ago. Not much info on it but have sales brochure. On tag, it shows model 03500 serial no. U043449. 11 hp.

The 111 Lawn Tractor was made for only two years, being 1978 and 1979. There were approximately 6400 units being made. As an educated guess, I estimate your particular tractor was made in the fall of 1978.

I have a cadet 111 that I repainted for my son, it's a pretty cool little tractor and he enjoys riding around on it, other than him saying it's to slow.:biggrin2: I had the decals custom made by maple hunter so if you ever decide to paint it they will be able to hook you up.

Cub 111 is my first non red cub cadet.
I have red cub cadets - 182, 682 and 982.
May buy more in the future?

Pretty sure the 182 and 111 are the same machine.... with the exception of engine size.

Cute little toy but g.... 3 miles per hour really? He may fall asleep riding that! :biggrin2:

PS: Good candidate for an electric conversion...Just saying.

Cadet 111 is same as red 382. What about engine? I know both are 11 hp. Are both same B&S model? If I wanted to restore engine, are parts available?
Just wanted some info. May restore it during this coming winter?
