Will tins from a 682 work on a 2072?
Assuming the 2082 is one that is referred to a cyclops. Will a normal cub metal fit on one of them, 682 fit on 2082? Assuming I will have to change the pedestal/dash parts too.

Pretty involved conversion. Cyclops have tilt steering, the battery tray is different between the Cyclops and the previous design, hydraulic plumbing and valves are different. Just to name a few. Some have done conversions by modifying the top of the Cyclops dash tower. Guess it depends on how handy you are doing sheet metal work.

If I have a complete 682 to use, would that make it any easier? I understand it has tilt column that would be an issue.

If the only issue is that you don't have the plastic I would just replace that. You can still get it from Cub new or try the sponsors for used parts.
If your dead set on doing a conversion start looking for something like an 1872 to rob the parts from. |
Is the frame on a 2082 the same as an 1872? I found part number s for both, numbers are different. But are they physically different? Can they be interchanged?

Pretty sure you can swap them.
