QA42A snow thrower

Howdy everyone,
I have recently purchased a QA42A snow thrower that I have put on my 1650. The question that I have is the wear/ scraper blade on the back bottom part of the snow thrower is worn out and I was looking for ideas of things to use to replace it. I have seen the replacement ones that are $60. I was looking for a cheaper option. It came with a lift rod that was way to long so this is what I came up with. It has been working for now. I hope it holds up.

Thank you
Clifton

Did you turn the scraper around? There are reversible, hopefully the other side is not worn out.

Like Bill said, they can be flipped over. Otherwise, try your hand at making or own, or sh!t out $60 and have one ready to bolt on.

The one I own, the previous owner gob welded a homemade one on, something I wouldn't recommend doing :biggrin2:

I'll have to try to flip it around. Thank you for the input
