Care to elaborate? Not that it's not a 147 but do you know something else?

Alvy, look closely at the frame rails near the engine blower housing. They are not widened to accommodate the bigger flywheel from the 147 14hp engine. Also, the fenderdeck is incorrect...but that could have been changed.

Someone cut the driveshaft tunnel.
Bucket has bubbles in the paint.
Missing air filter.

I do..... :HeeHee:

Hey Lew, do you see what I see? Has nothing to do with what Dale sees.

Looks like the hydraulic pump has been cobbled on the loader frame too, it should be mounted off the front and run off the PTO.

He's only about $1400 too high.:biggrin2:

Alvy 11-21-2016 10:07 PM

What I meant was other than the obvious reasons why it's not a "147" and somewhat "cobbled" and high dollar I just wondered if Lew knew the seller or the guy had it listed under multiple locations or something that made it a scam as Lew is the Craig's list goo goo and might have seen it posted somewhere else. Or has dealt with him before or knew someone that got burned.

Anyone can sell something that they might think is great when it's an actual mess internally but the phrase "buyer beware" normally means something else and they've been caught or mislead people before

There's an old couple on let go near me that wants 5 grand for a wide frame that the husband "went over with a fine tooth comb". I wouldn't say they were purposely misleading anyone, only that they are misinformed and I told them an actual price range and things that were missing/wrong with it and why the price was so out of line

J-Mech 11-21-2016 10:12 PM

I know what you meant.... but it's still kinda misleading. The tractor isn't a 147, and the loader isn't for a Cub Cadet. It's a model WH-400, for a Wheel Horse.
