I was coming back from the Doctor this morning and turned the radio on and Sweet Emotion was playing. Boy that brings back old memories. I grew up in the late 60's and early 70's?
What kind of music do you guys like? Will show our ages.:biggrin2:

heavy metal. Metallica, Megadeth, Iced Earth, Sabaton, Accept, U.D.O, Grave Digger, Gamma Ray, Primal Fear, Blind Guardian....way more to list but too many to list. cannot stand any other genre of music.

X2- Anyone see the grammys? Lady Gaga with Metallika? What the hell was that? Woulda been ok if it was her mic that was not on!

sweet emotions has gotten a few tickets when I was younger , when I was out cruising the interstate or the back roads not thinking , and flying by a marked trooper at 95 mph :bash2::bash2::angry: in a 55 ... ( talked him down to 75 ) and when it went to court I was under supervision for 6 months and $350 fine ..

as for me today I like 80's rock ( hairbands , and mostly Joe satrianai ) but I do mix it up with blues , bluegrass , and old country ( Cash, Dolly, ) not this modern what I call country rock remake /rap crap..

I listen to alot of 50's and 60's music, I also listen to alot of hair bands from the 80's and country from the early 90's and older. I'm will be 34 in a few days and can't stand new music and most music from my generation. My wife will tell you that I was born a few decades late because I only like old music and old cars.

I like almost everything except rap! I think there is a radio station in California named CRAP FM. My father use to say about bad singer "They sing like a cat having his tail stock in a bicycle chain." Rapper don't sing at all they just grumble like bear, he didn't live enough long to hear them.

Genesis, Pinkfloyd, Supertramp, Santana, Emerson,Lake and palmer to name a few of my youth listening but I'm from the disco generation so yep I dance a lot! LMAO

that would be "KRAP" , Not "CRAP" ( only Canadian stations start with "C" ) , U.S. stations east of the Mississippi river Have the "W" prefix except Kdka in Pittsburgh PA and one in Alaska has a W . and a few odd lots from before the 1923 BON legislation ( has to do with ships ) , and everything west of the Mississippi river start with "K" prefix

at first i was quite skeptical of metal legends like Metallica and lady Gaga but honestly i thought it was really good. she can sing! too bad James's mic didn't work the first half of the song. but they did a good collaboration i thought

I have played guitar and banjo since I was a kid. I like all the heavy metal bands, Guns and Roses etc. But I like Cream, Grand Funk Railroad and Deep Purple. And who could ever forget smoking that good stuff and having Pink Floyd playing so loud the windows were ready to break?

But, I also like Blue Grass and really old Country, Hank Sr. Johnny Cash. I think the music I hate the most is Rap and the new country like Garth Brooks.

I can listen and enjoy any music except for country music.....it makes me violent!! It makes my skin crawl and raises my blood pressure. Just cannot stand it.

I like classical, classic rock, blue grass, rhythm and blues, pop, folk, etc.....just depends on my mood.
