Life Long Friend
 

My life long friend who happens to winter down in Florida is known to have items sent to me to hold until he returns in the spring.

On Thursday a pacel shows up at my door and I think nothing of it. Then on Friday the Fedex truck arrives and the driver asks where I want this rather heavy item placed. A look into the delivery van reveals a skid with what looks like a Kohler engine. What The H!?!. The box from the previous delivery contains the S/G and miscellaneous components off the engine.

I call and leave a message. My friend finally returns the call and says, "Last we talked you said you were looking for a 14 horse kohler. I know you are too cheap to pay for shipping so I found this on ebay and bought it for you. Merry Christmas." He knows me too well.

A good friend indeed! Looks like you have some wrench turning to do.

If you have one "true friend" you can count yourself a lucky man.

We don't keep track. Last month his wife was frantic about water in the basement. It turned out that the shut off where the service enters the house had cracked. Without hesitation I drove over there and fixed it.

You are a lucky man to have such a good friend!
