#1 tiller

Hello all. New here have been lurking for some time though. My latest project is a 125 with a#1 tiller mounted. The large pulley on the tiller itself 485-267 r1 is worn to a razors edge on one side and I was wondering if anyone knew of a source or suitable replacement for this pulley? I'm not having much (any) luck finding any online. Thanks randy.

Try McMaster

Or any decent bearing supply house.

Your pulley guard was not spaced correctly away from the pulley. You do have the guard??, I hope. Very necessary safety feature.

I found out the hard way last year when I got in a hurry and failed to install the guard. My pulley was razor sharp on that side as well.I'll leave the rest to your imagination.

I highly suggest you obtain a guard if you do not have one. New member "smitty" on here can make you one.

Be carefull!

Thanks for responses fellas. Yeah I bought tiller last fall in this condition. When I noticed pulley I kind of figured they had the guard wearing on it. It didn't come with a guard but I did snag one off of eBay a little bit ago when I saw it come up. There were quite a few things cobbled on this unit I've been going through. Wanted the tiller for my 108 but the guy didn't want to take the gear box off of the 125 it was so he sold the whole setup for what I was planning to pay on the tiller. Some carb work and the tractor is running strong so it'll save me from having to swap atttachments on the 108.

I don't have a guard for mine..... never been an issue. Don't put your hands where they don't belong.
