1450
Hi guys I'll be picking up a 1450 this weekend. I'll post pics once it's home. Just curious what it's worth?? I'm only getting the tractor, no deck or sub frame.
|
I paid 100.00 for mine.
|
my 1450 would command a much higher price,.....there Lew. But, truth be told, I drove a 1450 out of the scrap man's yard for 110!

Lol nice. I have one question though, he says it needs a starter to make it run again. Did the QL series have the starter under the seat next to the battery? It's hard to tell from his pictures if it still has the s/g or not.
|
My guess is that the starter was on the engine and not under the seat. :biggrin2:

I'm just curious. I've never owned a QL figured I better ask some questions.
|
Starters are always (rare exceptions) mounted to the engine.....
No generator. Bendix style starter. |
Thanks Johnathan, I get a snowblade with it too. Going to an auction first though. Might bring home more cub stuff as well. :beerchug:

Yea, no hand cranks on these models! lol! :biggrin2: The Cub's usually kept the starter ( engine crank ) under the seat.
Actually, the bendix and alternator was a major improvement over the previous s/g's . Good luck! |
