Did they make 2 different styles of wheels for the original? I have one that has the valve stem on the inside and my other original has them on the outside.

No. Someone has switched the rims at some point, or turned the wheel backwards. Should be on the outside.

I thought they did change them slightly.:HeadScratch: I always thought that the '61s had more of a protruding ridge around the outside of them and the '62s and '63s did not. Both editions of the rims have the valve stem on the outside. I don't remember whether there was a grease zerk on the '61s and not on the other two years or not....
