Where to get a new seat cover

My pan is fine but the cover and pad is shot. Where can I get a correct seat cover and pad?

Thanks in advance,

Bob

Keep your eyes on Ebay, there is a seller that regularly sells OEM Cub Cadet seats for a decent price....I don't know of any supplier of a correctly fitting cover...but I have bought two of those seats and they bolted right on my 1200 and 1250. Looked pretty good and were comfy too. If I remember right he was in Michigan or Wisconsin, and had a buy it now price less than $50.

You an also place a wanted ad, in the wanted items section. Also, check with our sponsors at the top of each page. :beerchug:

So my current pan is worthless?

Worthless is not a word in my dictiomnary Ha,LOL
I would not be quick to toss it after you possibly get a new seat.
I'm sure many fellows would like/need it.

You can still get seats from the dealer for around $75. They are the ones from the 82 series tractors, but bolt right up, and look fine.

Yeah, "worthless" was probably a poor choice of words! Let's see if I understand...I can get a complete seat that will bolt on to my tractor which means I don't need my current pan. Is there a place you guys know of that will re-cover my pan and make it look original?

I bought a brand new replacement cushion on Ebay for $24. Fits fine, save your seat.

Just the cushion or the cover also?

lowlyfzlucky 06-01-2010 04:07 PM

Cushion and cover as 1 piece. Save your trim ring that holds it on though, you'll need it.
