Wow! The difference between what this car can do and the Hellcat is amazing. Seems bolting a set of traction bars on the old RR was a lot easier and cheaper. lol A friend of mine has a red 72 Demon, i think he needs a pair. He's got some $ buried but i don't think this would be it. He's got a few other collectables. Mike:biggrin2:

Yup, I'd love to get behind the wheel of that bad boy. I was lucky enough to run a Hellcat recently and it blew my mind it was scary fast, the owner was riding shotgun encouraging me to open it up. When my brother in law worked for a dodge dealer as a paint/body guy I got to drive a srt 10 truck in the old town I used to live in Pa. and that thing was nuts, it was dialed in though. That demon would get me a lot tickets if I owned it

It's still a Dodge, for the price it should include a Chevy truck and a guy to drive it to follow behind and pick up the parts that fall off.:biggrin2: let the :Duel: begin.

Yep just a fricking Dodge, but I cant count how many late 60's and early 70's small block V8 Camaro and Firebird I left behind at street corner with my 340 Demon not counting few small block "Stang". I was long gone before their tires stop toasting and grip. :biggrin2:

I like the new Demon but today muscle car are out of range for most people.

PS: I'm a GM guy today :beerchug:

OK so what can you do with it? If NHRA wont let it run then it becomes a street racer and how many will turn it into a ball? :beatdeadhorse:

Very few, half of them been purchase by collector and a big bunch of what's left purchased by circuit racer or exported around the world, how many will hit the streets six or seven hundred maybe? With only 300 sold in Canada I may never see one wrecked!

I like the fact that Dodge is doing whatever they want and are making cars that aren't out to compete with any other manufacturer. The Demon looks kinda dumb to me (what's going on with the fenders and the front valance) but I can't complain about the performance. Pretty BA overall if you ask me.

You HAVE to be kidding. Last 2 cars my wife had/has are Chrysler--Intrepid and a Pacifica--both fine reliable autos. I drove a rental Hemi powered 4 door truck for a couple weeks 2 years ago--wow that thing was fast. For the last 10-12 years I have been driving GM trucks. Lets see, $1,000 to fix the brakes on the Chevy and the wheels or master cylinder never came off--had to go to the dealer as 2 independent mechanics couldn't figure it out. Then the fuel gauge broke. Then got a GMC, transmission decide it wasn't going to shift a few times. Overall a good truck. Now my current ride, another Chevy. Less than 10K miles, the tire pressure monitor is going nuts, the clock gains a ridiculous amount of time, the display/control center decided to go crazy with distorted images and noises before I even cranked it up one morning, the thermometer stayed stuck about 20 deg too cold one morning. Of course the dealer says there is NOTHING wrong. We won't even begin to discuss the bosses Denali that lost the fuel pump, rear end, and warped the brake rotors. Yes sir, nothing like that GM quality.
