Should I look at this?
|
I would look at it, i wouldn't pay anymore than $300 if everything checks out.
|
I paid that or a little less for the 1811 I have been working on for a year. That one looks like its ready to mow, even with the oil leak. It looks way better than mine. If you want one you won't find one any cheaper around here without a bunch of luck. 6 and 782's are priced more than that. Now of course if you want a challenge, go get that $500 2072, think it's in Siler City.

Looks pretty nice but I would be leery of the engine tins missing. If it was near me I would probably be interested.

I just didn't know if it were a super deal or not. Need something to do, so I am on the prowl for another project. Would love to find a 100, but I have been looking for a long time. I do have to go pick up 2 Originals in the next couple weeks. One is an original recoil machine and the other is gonna get sold real quick. So at least I will have that one to fiddle with. Here's a pic of it, small but you can zoom it up.

That won't be easy to work on like your originals. If you have a need to mow grass the I would look at it for what Tim said. If you were going to spend the amount of time fixing that that one would take, you'd be better off finding a 1864.

I am in for 250.00, looks like a few fun times.

Lol, I don't think these guys around here will come down much from my experience. They think they have the only one left on the planet.
