Picked up some new toys!

Well guys I stumbled on what seems to be a honey hole last night. Guy has been collecting for years and decided he wants it all gone and its priced to sell.

I originally went for this 44c deck, paint is weathered but the underside is solid as the day it rolled off the showroom. It ought to make a solid replacement for when my 44a finally wears through. And for the smooth price of $40 bucks I couldnt say no.

While I was there, like a kid in a candy store, I couldnt help help self so I ended up buying this tiller. Its complete and much like the deck just weathered paint but all the sheet metal and bearings seem to be solid. He let it go $60 :biggrin2: I do not have pictures of the rest as i have to go back and pick it up later this week, but I also bought a factory spring assist for $30 and a pair of 80% tread bar tires on rims for $70. I was pretty stoked to be honest and had to share!

Amazing finds! And you can't beat the price. Love the look of the patina on the tiller :-)

I was gonna post the link to his craigslist ad but I did not want to break any spam rules or anything of the like. But he is located around Chillicothe, he has tires, any sheet metal you could possibly need and just about any other cub part you might need. As well as a 73, 108 and a few other complete tractors. If you search craigslist for "cub cadet" in the Peoria area his post will come up with the tag line "selling out $1". If it is acceptable I can post the exact ad, like I said I just dont want to break any rules or ruffle any feathers.

Note: I have no affiliation with this with seller and have nothing to gain and only access to valuable parts to loose by sharing this. I just hope this helps some local cub guys out.

Thank you sir, and I agree. The girlfriend immediately asked if I was going to paint it because "it looked old and ratty". I just shook my head, some people just dont get it.:bigthink:
