WF Lift Rod Length
 

I know this has been asked here a lot, but I can't find any definitive answers.

How long is a lift rod for a WF push blade? I know it's 1/2" diameter.

I've read the write up on how to measure driving up on a 2x4, but I'd prefer to make the rod ahead of time, as the tractor isn't at my house right now.

Never said I needed any help making one. Simply looking for the length to save me the trouble of measuring it, since the tractor isn't at my house. If someone has one handy or knows the length off hand. That's all. From searching, I see it's been asked a lot on here, and have yet to see a solid reply.

Jeff makes em too, but I'd prefer to make one myself. Since they are so simple to do.

If I don't get a reply by the weekend, I'll post up the measurement for you.

Are you in a bad mood today or something? You seem to be extra pissy today. He clearly said in his first post that he was looking for the measurement because the tractor wasn't at his house to measure it himself.

Just went out and measured 3 of 'em Jason. 28 1/8", 28 1/16" and 28". That would be center to center.

My pleasure. Remember, that's center to center. The tape measure in the picture is hooked on the outside edge of the rod thus showing outside edge to inside edge.

yup... same story here. I have some of my Cub stash here and the rest 30+ miles away, don't get out there as much as I'd like to....
