NF PTO gauge thickness?
A couple years ago I bought a rebuilt PTO for my 123. My old one finally blew up so I was going to put it on.
Apparently the friction plate was not aligned properly so it won't fit in the basket. So I loosened aligned it, and now need to adjust it. I found the picture of the gauge with the dimensions on this site. I had one of my guys wire EDM cut one this morning. It won't fit. I think it's too think. I just made from some 1/8" stock I had lying around. How thick is it supposed to be? I can't find that info anywhere online. Thanks, Brian |
The setting gauge I have is very thin material. Maybe 20 - 22 guage material or so? It is probably somewhere around 60 thousandths thick.

Just for the record, Aaron at xtreme makes and sells them for $4.
http://www.xtrememotorworks.com/Part...Cub-Cadet.html I understand you apparently have the tools.... but even for the ridiculous shipping price he has, it's not a bad deal. |
It was not necessary to loosen the nuts on the pto, a 3 jaw puller was all that was needed to compress the thrust button to align it up, but now you will have a gauge.

Put a large socket or a short piece of pipe in the big hole end so it bottoms on the snap ring and use a vise, simple
