1872 hydro question
Just acquired a 1872 when you press the clutch or turning brake the hydro lever does not return to neutral, suggestions? thnx

Sounds like some linkage is broken or has become disconnected. Time to pull the Tunnel Cover and see what is going on.

I'm quite sure that the clutch pedal being depressed is suppose to put it in neutral. Sounds like there might be a piece of linkage missing or unhooked.It's hard to tell from the pics. The turning brakes have nothing to do with returning it to neutral. There would be no point in having turning brakes if they just put it back to neutral.:bigthink:

You are missing one of the linkages. It is the one with the clevis end as shown in the first pic.

Better pic of mine, Is that linkage avail new or do I look for a used one?
