I found these parts half buried behind a tree on my property. They were all wired together. I don't have a clue if they go together or not.
Can anyone identify them and submit a picture, and what they are used for. I am trying to add second photo but unable to do so. I'm going to submit then return and try to add second pic.
Thanks

Cultivator shovels where I come from. They go by different names.

Look pretty big to go on garden tractor size cultivator. Regular tractor size maybe.

We call them sweeps, sometimes refer to the small ones like these as shovels. Some folks run 2-3 per side on the front cultivators under the offset series IH tractors (Cub-140). We had a 4 row 3pt cultivator for field corn that ran stuff about that sized. So was the location you found them part of a farm or did it look like the guy had a large garden? FWIW they are fairly interchangeable among many manufacturers.

Thank you all for the information.

I retook the picture of the other parts. There are 4 of these.

That's a cultivator row guard.

Thank you. I don't know what I will do with them. Maybe hide them back behind the tree for the next land owner to find!

Sweeps/shovels and row guards---you're in Texas, so I'm gonna guess cotton farm? Always fun to try and figure out the history behind artifacts previous generations left for us.

The sweeps are worth a dollar maybe two ninety eight, or so apiece on ebay.
the cultivator shield not much, and don't recognize it as far as IH, JD ??
You can hang the sweeps on a wall as "country decorations"
paint the sweeps red/white/blue :beerchug:
yard art:bigthink:
