54" snow blade
 

I recently purchased a model 401 54" snow/dozer blade for use on my 2072. It's in pretty decent shape but could use some paint. The original paint on this blade appears to be some sort of a flat black color. Is this correct? I'm thinking it would look better in 901 white.

Nice find! I believe the original black was a sort of semi gloss black that turned flat pretty easy. The 901 paint is for older cubs. I think u would want the 935 to match your tractor. l did one of mine in this color and I think they look really good in the white.
Not really sure how they ended up black in the first place other than someone just didn't feel it was worth the time and money for the white....idk

I think a white undercarriage and yellow moldboard would look good.
