Man casually mowing lawn, huge tornado coming

Washington post/ AT&T too, has it ... fake ?
If not, it's insane ...crap. The upload failed. :biggrin2: 3 hills Canada, his wife took the picture.

Not fake

Not fake. There has been quite a bit of media coverage up here to validate it.

Three Hills is about an hour away from here and a fairly common area for tornado watches. It looked like a monstrous tornado from the movies but it's awe was caused mostly by the dark dirt it was contained. A nice dark rich looking soil. Made it look wonderfully ominous despite it being a relatively "weak" tornado.

As for the guy mowing his lawn, he's Canadian. There's very little weather that can frighten us. Maybe a heat wave. We don't know how to handle those.

It's not fake. Pretty good way to become an internet sensation.

Pretty weak tornado. Probably wouldn't make somebody from Kansas get up and look out the window. :biggrin2:

You would have thought the OP would know a big tornado being from Kansas. Yet the title says "huge tornado". Probably never even seen one.... living in that bomb shelter, watching CNN and reading the Washington Post.

Funny you say that. I was working at the Saturn, Spring Hill plant during a shutdown in the summer of "96. They told us at 9:00 the first day that the chillers were being shutdown for service. It had to be 110 degrees F in that plant. Some Canadian guys were working a line over from us and they would lose one at least everyday. They were staying at the same motel as us and we got to talk to them by the pool at night. Great bunch of guys, but the Tennessee heat got to them.

The tornado is about 3 miles away, so he's good.

So you must be the eyes and Jon is the ears, you can tell how far away the twister is and Jon can tell how fast it's spinning.:biggrin2:
