Do you have one to go by? I have a few but I will not measure,heaven forbid it get it wrong and you will no longer like me.
Why not buy one on flea bay?

When I bought the tractor it never had one. I've been breaking my stones each spring mounting the deck. I have metal stock laying around figured I'd just make my own.

I just lost one on my 50C. I made one from flat stock that I had lying around. I made mine 7" long but if I had to redo it, I would go 7.5 or 8.0 inches. I used a "T" configuration instead of the OEM "L" design. I placed a slight bend near the 3/8" hole to align with the idler pulley. See images

My mule doesn't have the ratchet either. I stick a 9/16" wrench in the slot, engage the nut, and push on the wrench to slack the belt for install/removal.
