Making it Official
OK Guys, I've been sneaking around here for a while, and now I am making iit official. I got myself registered, now I am trying to get aquainted with the site and the other members.
Anyhoo I am down here in Mo. and I have had a 1964 100 for a few years now, I have rebuilt the engine and installed a new clutch, and some aglug tires. I have also built my own three point hitch, then adapted a Bolens eight inch plow, a single David Bradley disc, and a Simplicity spring tooth harrow. Now I am working on a wheel horse drag harrow. I recently aquired pieces and parts of a 1966 102. The engine is gone from this tractor, so I plan to install a 16 horse Briggs single cylinder, that I just happen to have. Whenever I get around to it I want to build a backhoe unit and front end loader for this one. Anyone got ideas on how to put hydraulics on a CubCadet? I spent most of my life on a small farm, now I am too old and crippled up to do it anymore so I am into what I call microfarming, and doing it with my CubCadet. Hope to have some fun and share ideas with some of you;Cadetfarmer |

Feeling at Home Here
Hi Guys;
Ya'll know how to make a guy feel welcome. JDM did I see somewhere on here that you have a machine shop? I do some machining and welding in my shop here at home. My intent is to build or adapt an entire line of farm machinery for my cubs, I already have a little Simplicity hay mower along with the other implements I have already adapted. Did I mention that put a rear pto on my 100, I used the parts from an fcub, that I picked up at cubarama last year. I had to shorten the mainshaft and respline it on the one end, then I made the shift mechanism so that it fits on the cubcadet. I dream of building a miniture hay baler, and pull type combine, Ah if only I had more time. For anyone that has checked my info, the Sub teaching gig is temporary, until I can find another job as an engineer. Cadetfarmer |
