PTO stuck engaged
I have a model 123. I finally got right belt for the deck and i guess the pto is stuck engaged (blades don't stop turning)/. Any tips on getting it unstuck or do I need to replace it?

Can you post pictures of the PTO and the arm?
Is the PTO button on the PTO there? Is there a button on the arm? With the arm forward, how much space is between the PTO and the arm? |
There is a button on the flat bar in front of the pto. With the pto lever forward. There is 3/8 inch gap. The lever ect sewms to be fine. This 123 has sa5 for years. The actual pto itself is turning along with pully and wont disengage

Is there a large gap with the lever in the forward notch? ( it will move forward past that notch )
|
Yes actually. The lever will move forward past the notch

With the lever back, are the three arms that compress the spring ( held by the PTO button ) deflecting the spring rearward? |
If the little arm isn’t swinging back to compress the PTO clutch, you can probably just adjust the turnbuckle between the PTO lever and that clutch arm dealie. If it IS compressing the clutch when it’s all the way back, then you’ve got other problems

I will adjust turnbuckle first. If it doest press hard enough then on to next thing. The boss says i have to go inside for the night. Lol. Till tomorow guys thanks. And also if its easier to talk on the phone. I will give u my number. Just let me know thank you.
