Hydro control lever

Hi everyone.

I am currently fixing up a 147. My question is, the hydro control lever is extremely stiff. What is a good way to loosen it up a little? It is currently out of the tractor.

Clean up the linkage and use PB Blaster.

Tried that. I even loosened the nut on the bottom a little and it didn't help either.

I had a stiff linkage on a 129 once. Pulled it all out, cleaned and polished it all up, lubricated real good....and wha la.........smooth operation.

This is what I am talking about that is extremely stiff. The nut on the shaft is what I loosened.

Looks like a lot of TLC is needed.
