Cheap Hytrans?

I'm getting ready to change the fluid and filter on the 782 and I have an unopened gallon of hytrans that's about 10yrs old and wanted to buy another gallon but the local cub dealer wants $25 a gallon. Anybody know where I can get a good deal on hytrans?

Negative. I'm simply looking for the cheapest place to buy a gallon of genuine Cub Cadet Hytrans to go with the gallon i already have.

NO. I have universal fluid here by the 55 gallon drum that i use in all my other Cub's without issue, i will just use that before i pay $25 for a gallon of anything.

Then sell the jug you have on ebay.
Or to someone here.

$25 a jug is about the average going rate. You can mix it with the other fluid, it won't hurt anything. If you don't want to mix it, just use the other stuff you have. :beerchug:

I guess i will just mix it then.

Just bought a 2 1/2 gal container at IH dealer here yesterday at the cost of 52.89 taxes included. 1 gal containers were 26.95 each less tax so I bought the larger size. The counter guy explained the larger the container the less per gallon it is. GO FIGURE!!

I buy it at the IH dealer.. usually about 45-50 bucks for 2.5 gal. I don't consider that too bad.. Local cub dealer only has it in quarts and it is WAAY expensive that way. :beerchug:

The way I see it good quality oil is cheap insurance!:biggrin2::biggrin2:

And yes I realize different people use different oils and they all work.. I just like to use what came in it!:biggrin2::biggrin2: Not trying to resurrect any kind of Hytran debate!!:biggrin2::biggrin2:
