SGT 54" Deck
 

Hi All -

I have a 54" deck of a later model SGT that had the larger pto. I am planning on using the deck out at my camp and my 2182 is an earlier model with the small pto. Does anyone know which belt, mule drive pulleys, and deck double pulley that I will need to make this work. I believe there was an adapter kit but is not available anymore. Any help would be appreciated.

What is the serial # on the 2182?

Doesn't really help because there is no part number or info/dimensions about the pulley that needs replaced. The part number that was included is NLA except the collars.

From the parts book the pulley is 756-3048 the belt is 754-3001 the links are 719-3091 and 719-3092.

I'm far from lazy but I am still wondering where you are getting the pulley part number. WHen I do a search of the pulley number you listed it says it is for a 54" deck. In my parts catalog, it shows that adapter 190-322 adapts the early 54" deck to the later 2182s. Adapter Package 759-3602 adapts the later 54" deck to the earlier 2182s. It also shows the same adapter kit (759-3602) in the document you posted. The link you provided me is the link to the 190-322 adapter package which isn't what I need. I have a later 54" deck that I am trying to adapt to fit my earlier 2182 with the smaller pto. If I am missing something then please let me know. I do have the lift links already that I kept from the tractor I sold.

The pulley is in the parts book. It is the same as the 48" deck
It is nla but tells you the size of the sheaves.

Ok, so the next question is, does anyone have a used pulley I can buy off of them??

Easier to change the PTO on the tractor......

It might be easier but way more expensive. If I can find the pulley I need I should be in great shape. My snowblower and 46GT deck fit my smaller pto. I would hate to change the pto everytime I want to go out to my camp to mow.
