582 rear hitch adapter plate pics & info
 

I'm hoping someone has the Cub Cadet 380 Sleeve Hitch on their 582. I am in need of pictures of the adapter plate and also measurements so I can get Xtreme Motor Works to make one.

I had one of those, shudda took some measurements at the time....

Lew, I believe that is for a 582 Special. Unless you know something I don't, it will not work on a regular 582.

Alright.... So how does it attach? It has flanges on it to bolt to the axle mount on a 582S. The part sticking towards the trans on the back side is going to hit the rear case of a standard 582.

I've seen that part. I am familiar with it.... I've never seen it listed to fit anything other than an 1100 or 582S. Can you verify it somehow? Sorry to be skeptical, but I'm not convinced yet.

I've bought from IHCCW many times. Guy knows his stuff. He has this part listed to only fit the 1100, 482 and 582S.

I'm pretty confident about my position...... That part is designed to bolt to the Peerless rear end.

It would also fit the 1604.

I am going by the parts book.
It list that part as being part of the kit. Before I sold it I dry fitted it on a 1211, no problem hitting the trans.

Look at the description on callout #8. It is the bracket in question in this thread. In the description, it states "582 SPECIAL ONLY".
