Anyone in Illinois, Iowa, Indiana, etc ready for our incoming snow?!

Seems like it's been a very precipitous week here in my neck of the woods, had snow Sunday into Monday, then again Monday night, and now a long duration heavy snow event is looming over us. 99% of the predictions are falling in line with anywhere from 6-12 inches total between Thursday night and Friday night tapering off into Saturday morning. That's a lot of snow!

Anyone else geared up and ready to spend some time out there playing in the snow? :beerchug:

Yep!!
Got the 882 w/hyd angle blade 1st in line at the door in the heated shop and the 1450 w/soft cab and blower right behind it!!
About as ready as I can get at this stage of the game!!

I had 13in in one shot two weeks ago. Been snowing on and off for the last couple of days. Don’t think we are getting what you are talking about, I’m on the western edge of IA.

Be careful what you wish for. I'm about sick and tired of snow. I'm ready for spring and growing grass. Anxious to get some crabgrass preventer down.

Nope not ready. Still need to swap the chained tires back on the 149 and reinstall the blade. It makes perfect sense I took them off to put the new tires on and didn't snow hardly at all till that point.... now not even a week later it looks like my blower is gonna get some use

Well I was/am all excited and it looks like the storm is tracking more northerly than expected, I'm sad :( I even changed the oil in the 1864 tonight because what was fresh at the beginning of winter was starting to look a little dark for my taste. I even gave the neighbor a free oil change on his snow blower I was so excited!! :biggrin2: I guess we'll see what the night brings but it's looking like less than I had hoped. I even bet a local friend of mine on how much we'd get and loser buys lunch. I have a feeling I'm buying lunch :biggrin2:

We had about 5" already on the ground. Got another 5" (and still falling) with another 3-5 predicted for the next two days.
