Is it worth it?

What do guys think about these? What year about? I’m thinking about buying.
4 total, extra motor. Extra deck. $300.00 for all. |
They'd have to be pretty cheap.
Looks like a lawn mower to me. |

Two of the four. What year do you guys think? Don't know the other two front ends. Assuming the same.

That’s a lot of projects...nothing rare or super interesting. If you need a bunch of parts it looks like you could find them there.
If you have room for a few parts tractors it’s probably not an awful deal, but I’d still talk him down a bit. |
Looks like a 1250 and another Quiet Line, maybe a 1450 with no engine. These would be 1976 era.
Another wide frame, maybe a 129 (red stripe) which would be 1972-74 time frame. The fourth one is a mystery to me. Not familiar with that one, a smaller lawn mower of some sort. The spare engine would fit the 129 but neither of the Quiet Line models. I would get the 1250 with the engine, and the 129. Without an engine the 1450 isn't much good, and I don't mess with lawn mowers. I'd pay $300 for the pair considering the condition. You might offer $200. |
Frank is right on. Cast end deck looks decent. Although I will say the 1450 has the ported pump and hydraulic lift which is worth something. The cadet LT looks like a model 75 or 76. Not a bad deal for 2 to 3 hundred.

Mike's right about the hydraulic lift on the 1450. Get it and put the 1250's engine in it. So get the 1250, 1450, 129.
Well, the mower is kinda cute. OK, OK. Get the 1250, 1450, 129 and the mower. OK? Yeah. That's what a real cub collector would do. right? LOL |
$300 for everything isn't a bad deal. Sure, we would ALL try and get them cheaper, but overall, there's plenty of stuff there.
As mentioned, if you want a project, there's a couple there. And the LT looks like a model 76... |
I'd be interested in some parts off the 76.
