Cub 3235 Advise
 

A dealer has a Cub 3235 for sale. asking $1750 OBO. 25 hp Kohler Pro, 54" deck and 300 hrs. Picture's look nice for the age. Is this a ballpark value?
Also what to look for if I go check it out.

That is probably one of the best 3k tractors built.

Thanks for the reply. Here's some pics. Did these have charge pump and head gasket issues? The add say's 300 hrs, but how can I confirm it wasn't disconnected for a while. Is the $1700 asking price in the ballpark?

It's at a dealer. Quit being paranoid. I'm sure they checked it out. If you aren't comfortable buying it, then don't. If you don't have the knowledge or ability to fix it if those things break, then quit worrying about "what if". You sound like my daughter...... It's a machine. Statistically it will break at some point.

I am surprised it isn't more money, $2500 is more likely a good price.
I see the dealer brings his stuff home.

You need to buy all of these 3k series you can. The value is going to double within the next 2 to 3. That's a dirty steal, buy it immediately. You won't be sorry, you'll be glad :beer2: :beer2: :beer2:
