782 rear lift

What does the lift bar for the rear lift look like on a 782? I tried searching but haven't found much.

Thanks for the help Travis. I did a couple different searches and didn't come up with that thread. Knowing what I know now it turns out the lift I got the other day isn't for a 782 but that's ok because it turns out to be for an 82 series with manual lift which is even harder to find, not sure if I will put it on my 1050 or pass it along to someone else.

What does it look like Tim?

J-Mech 03-25-2018 10:35 AM

Tim, there are 3 different lift bar styles for the 82 series. One for hydraulic lift, one for manual lift, and one for gear drive. The gear drive one is the hard one to find.

Hydraulic lift (782): is straight
Manual lift hydro (682): has a bend in the bar at the lift handle end.
Manual lift gear drive (582): has 2 bends in it (at least) one at the lift handle, and the rest help fit it around the trans because it mounts different than the hydro trans.

I'll see if I can find pics. I have all 3 styles, but some are mounted to tractors.

The one I have has two bends.

Ok, my mistake. There are only 2 lift bars. I really was thinking there were 3, but I don't know why.....

Here is one for the hydraulic lift tractors:

And the manual lift tractors:

That's what I thought the one for a 682 looked like, but unless the parts book is wrong (it happens) the 5 and 682 use the same one.

I really, really thought that was what the 682 looked like....:bigthink:

Me too for some reason. Almost all the way down, he has it listed as WF. I have one in the shed and had forgot what it fit.
