Got an upgrade.
1 Attachment(s)
Whenever I go to events I always try to take some video but it's a huge PITA trying to use my phone while I'm driving a tractor so I decided it was time for an upgrade. I won this GoPro hero 4 off eBay with a ton of extras for a very reasonable price, there's probably $200 worth of mounts and spare batteries alone. I need to do some testing before plow day to figure out the best way to mount it on a Cub so I get as little vibration as possible.

I'm excited for you! I want a go-pro. I'd like to play with it on the Cubs, but we'd like to have one for when we go (motorcycle) riding!
Looking forward to some video! :beerchug: |

I have one. It is fun- I use it on the CC, my bicycle, and when I go to plow days. They can get some unique shots you wouldn't normally think of.

Tim would mind sharing the complete model number of your Go Pro 4 ? I'd like to get one as well, and trust your judgement of model to have. Thanks!

Cool new toy Tim.
I've got one of the older models without a screen. Got it "free" when I bought my last ATV. I've used it on the RC truck, and that's pretty cool. But the best is on the dog. I've got a harness, and it puts the Go Pro on the back of his neck. Some of the video, makes you a little dizzy watching it... Also attached it to the side of the 56 going down the highway. Those suction cup mounts, really stick. But you are correct, the newer ones with the viewing screen, are way better. Cause without it, it's a shot in the dark, where you're actually videoing... |
