Pto problems.

Hello all, a customer of mine has a 149 with PTO problems. It will turn on and off, but as soon as the tiller hits hard ground it just slips. The belts are all fine, thePTO just slips, and smells too. I'm sure this has been an issue in the past so could someone post a link that will help? Thanks!

Some of the 149's used 2 discs in the clutch.

No it had 2 discs and 2 springs. I guess some of the early ones had 2 discs.
