What are some opinions of plowing with an aluminum rearend tractor? This will be a sleeve hitch setup, not cat 0.

Which model tractor or rear end are you talking about?

A SGT like a Cub 2182 with the 3cyl Kubota engine has an aluminum rear.

install some braces and get it done.

And make sure bolts holding the rear end stay tight.

He's talking about the early 82 series with the aluminum rears. A 2182 would have a cat 0 hitch that attaches to the frame.

Know of a gent or two that modify a sleeve hitch to work on a aluminum rear.

It's a 1050. I have a lower bracket for the lift that bolts on with the 5 lower cover holes. Thinking about throwing the lift on for plow day.

True but I'm not sure if he's pulling off the rearend or something else.
