Went vehicle shopping today
3 Attachment(s)
Both buggies have in excess of 200K on them. 01 Jeep Cherokee is at 219K and my 01 Suburban is at almost 225K.
My wife picked out a 07 Tahoe and I found a 04 Suburban that struck my fancy. We'll pick up the Tahoe early in the week and the Suburban a week or so later ( on the way to dealer on thursday, a "nice lady in a subaru" pulled out in front of me. Everyone is fine but I have to deal with the insurance company before trading in the suburban ) |
This all could have been avoided if you had just come to plow day.
I'd say i know a good bodyman but you're a bit far away. |
Bet the sue boo hoo looks a whole lot worse :Duel:

Pushed the wheel against the inner "frame", the fender, hood and grill were all "toast" plus it was leaking important fluids. 2014 Subaru Impreza did well but had to be flat bedded. I drove the Suburban up the road to a business and waited for a the flatbed to show up. It didn't turn well with the bumper that close to the tire. :bash2: Luckily everyone was OK :beerchug: |
Put that one in the "could have been worst" file. Glad everyone was okay.
Couple good looking rigs, hope they serve you well.:beerchug: That's got to be up there, with things I hate doing. Vehicle shopping.:bash2: I hope I'm on my last truck. Should be, bought it new in 07, and only have 77,000 miles on it, but never know...:bigthink: |
Different vehicles are usually quite exciting. Motor vehicle accidents....not so much. Glad all involved are OK.
|
You picked out 2 nice cars.
It could have been worse. At least it wasn't a "nice guy in a Mack". |
New vehicle @%*_%^&**!!
My 93 suburban just lost reverse
@ 486,388 miles. (Check it out “400,000 mile Chevy Suburban” 0n face book).Had it since 97. Sad to think 500,000 is not in the cards. |
Just fixit.
4l60's are not that difficult 4X4's are a little more work in/out, and do the rear main seal on the crankshaft while it is out. @ that many miles, it needed refreshed anyway,as those seals/clutches don't last forever.:beerchug: |
