Garden #2
My neighbor owns an old farm. He rents off most of it to an actual farmer for corn and beans. The old pastures he rents to a guy to make hay. There’s a plot for me to plant in.

Looks a tad bit sticky! Crop insurance circles are already tossing around the term "prevented planting" here, and its raining more now.
|
At one point there was so much dirt on the front tires the front end was off the ground. Took me a minute to realize why I couldn’t steer, lol.

That is not ideal tilling conditions
but it is ideal for compaction :bigthink: |
I have a question for you how is the tiller mounted on the back of your 1812? I just got a 1811 and I have a no.2 tiller setting here and I would like to use it on the tractor thanks for any info to mount it .

J mech I was looking at other posts on here and I seen one marked tiller adapter for a 1872 by cyr2872. I was wondering if there is more info on a mounting brackets of this style it's a no.2 tiller it came with a 169 I bought at a farm auction. The 169 is getting a overhaul and I need a tiller adapter for this gt. Any info or pointing me in the right direction would be appreciated

Cyclone, I bought my adapter from xtreme motorworks. Pricey, but it went right on. Also, you do need the 3 point hitch, as J-mech said.
|
Thanks guys for the info looked a extremes web page looks like time to get more parts
|
Yes, xtrememotorworks.com has the adapter for the 3pt. He also sells 3pt's for the tractor. You will also need the weld on brackets for the tiller so it will work, as you have a #2 and not a 2B. If all bought from xtreme, that is $730 worth of parts, plus shipping. You can go buy a CI rear wide frame tractor that the tiller will bolt right to for less. I would consider that before purchasing....
