95e 36v on-board charger
1 Attachment(s)
I put my rebuilt 95e in service last August. It runs well and mows pretty good considering the humps & bumps in the yard. I've been using a remote 36v charger temporarily and would like to rebuild the original on-board unit. Mostly the wires are simply old, frayed & insulation cracked. I bench tested it and it worked fine last winter.
Does anyone have any knowledge and/or experience rebuilding a charger from one of these machines? I fabricated a new sheet metal housing for it and just need to transfer the innards over and re-wire it in the process. Here's a picture (hopefully) of the original charger & housing. This might sound stupid but you need to do some research on 36v power wheels. Converting power wheels to 36v is very popular and there is a ton of info on it, I suspect you might find the answers you're looking for from those people.

Thanks Tim. I'll google that and see what pops up.
