Super Cub and Monkey.

Looks like Honda is going to be bringing some pretty cool stuff to the U.S. The only issue i see is the price. I think it would be cool to have either one but I'd have to wait and get a good deal on a used one.

The Monkey nameplate was the late 60s model. Later it was the Z series and I had one(Z-50) when I was a kid. I rode it everywhere and even places I shouldn't have. Brings back memories!

In our neighborhood, if you had a Honda 50 or 70 you were the "rich kid" and usually not to popular among the rest of us poor kids with cobbled up Briggs and Tecumseh mini bikes.

Many of the kids in my area had Honda CT-70s and 90s. My little Z-50 did well keeping up with the 70s. However, when they bought XR-75s my little bike was so tiny and slow...but still cute. The little 50 is gone but not forgotten. Maybe someday I will get another.:beer2:

Seriously though.... I'm a huge Honda fan. No matter what it is. Old to new, Honda is the king in my opinion.

Milwaukee Wisconsinites probably would not agree with you! :biggrin2:
I agree with you, Honda does make great cars and bikes.

I know.
Really upsets me they moved the plant back to Japan. But hey, America elected the worthless people that ruined the economy and made it cheaper to move factories out of this country.... but let's not get into the debate. That was a statement of fact, not a political argument.

My brother and I had a 1974 Honda xr75. Lots of fun on that one dad took the chain off and wouldn’t let’s us ride it till we bought a helmet. Five bucks for a used 1/2 helmet and we were off!. Christmas morning 1977 I worked for an hour it seemed like to get my brand new 1977 xr75 out of the garage without scratching Moms Pontiac station wagon or the bike. Parked it in the driveway went back in the garage to get my helmet, my brother jumped on it took off down the street layed it down broke the clutch Handle off! . I didnt get to ride for couple of weeks. Brother had to buy Honda shop had to order

Outlawed? I know companies can't make and sell them anymore but that doesn't mean you can't own one.
