Auction Ending Soon

Auction ending soon on a 1450.. Runs and operates well from what the owner says in auction. Looks decent in pictures. Good paint. Comes with deck, plow, chains and wheel weights. No one has bid at $450 but I can make an offer. Was thinking an offer of $375. Anyone here think that a good deal, great deal, bad deal??? Just curious before I pull the trigger.

I realize that the Quietline Series is not for everyone. A lot of complaints about the engine isolation rail system. Lot of people don't understand the concept nor want to spend the money and/or time to fix it the right way.

Now me, on the other hand, have a 1450 and it is one of my favorite tractors. Mine is a work horse, doing many tasks. I fixed my motor rail system and haven't touched it in 5+ yrs. I have a single hydraulic circuit (standard quipment) and planning on adding a second circuit. The maintenance is (IMHO) is not any more or less than any other tractor. It is what YOU put forth, in the time and quality of repairs.

That being said, the decision is yours.

Thanks fr the input.. I have the 1211 which I thought was pretty similar unit compared to the 1450. I may be completely wrong in that statement. I'm still learning all the subtle difference between models. I'm not afraid of repairs or maintenance. Just looking for something with a little more uuumph than my 1211.

The 1211 and 1450 are basically the same with the exception of how they look.

Hell, the weights are worth $125 and so is the snow plow.
I'd say it's every bit worth $450.
Don't be so tight!!

Its not a matter of tight. I would be making a binding offer sight unseen. I am simply limiting my exposure to paying more for a machine than I should. For all I know I could pay 450$and get there just to find out there is a really bad bad problem and I would have no recourse at all.. So for that reason my offer will be low.
