Wheat Harvest Parade
1 Attachment(s)
Gonna be a hot one today at the Wheat Harvest Parade our town has every year. Yeah, wheat has been harvested for at least a month here. :HeadScratch: Putting in 4 tractors this year. 1938 Allis Chalmers WF bought new by my Great Grandfather. A Super A to be driven by my 12 year old nephew- his first time driving. Super M. And Farmall 450. The three bigger ones are trailer queens. They sit under car covers all year and come out for the parades or tractor club shows. The Allis is still a crank start.

Here we are lined up before the parade started. Wife and I brought the kids home after the parade with take out chicken BBQ. The goings on are only a mile from where we live. Good gracious is it humid here today!!! 83 degrees, no breeze, humid as hell, and barely a cloud in the sky.:crap::Explode:
Gonna try to mow some lawn before I need to go back to get the Super M home. |
Very nice, thanks for sharing. (It's 88 degrees here and unbelievabley humid)

OK. So there is some voting for awards at the big show. Apparently after I left with the BBQ, my family passed the word to vote for my nephew. When the votes were counted my nephew won best parade entry and best tractor. :beerchug: He is very, very, excited tonight. :beer2:
